About this group
The Hospital Facility Authority of the City of Albany exists to support the health and welfare of the community by facilitating the financing of hospital and healthcare facilities. Acting as an issuer of conduit revenue bonds for nonprofit organizations, the Authority ensures access to essential healthcare infrastructure without creating financial obligations for the City. It was reestablished by the City Council on January 28, 2026.
