Hospital Facility Authority
The Hospital Facility Authority of the City of Albany exists to support the health and welfare of the community by facilitating the financing of hospital and healthcare facilities. Acting as an issuer of conduit revenue bonds for nonprofit organizations, the Authority ensures access to essential healthcare infrastructure without creating financial obligations for the City.
Albany Revitalization Agency
The Albany Revitalization Agency (ARA) promotes revitalization within the boundaries of an urban renewal district through investment in public infrastructure and public/private partnerships. The agency also establishes activities and funds programs in response to private sector needs while balancing the interests of the community at large.
Central Albany Revitalization Area (CARA) Advisory Board
The City Council serves on the CARA Advisory Board, and each member appoints a counterpart member on the CARA Advisory Board. Advisory Board members generally live or own property or businesses in the Central Albany area.
