At Albany Parks and Recreation, we believe in creating inclusive experiences that are accessible to all. As such, we strive to provide detailed information about each trip and tour, including any potential obstacles such as stairs, uneven surfaces, or challenges that might be encountered during the excursion.
While some of our trips may involve navigating stairs or traversing uneven terrain, we want to emphasize that everyone is welcome to sign up for a trip if they believe it aligns with their interest and abilities.
We offer performances and make every effort to secure seats at venues with minimal stairs and try to secure some seats that sit on the aisle. However, we also want to ensure that everyone is prepared for any potential challenges they may encounter. Therefore, we kindly ask all participants to be mindful and prepared to navigate some stairs during our performances.
If you have a specific accessibility concern or requirement, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for considering our trip and tour program. We look forward to embarking on exciting adventures together!
