Albany Arts Commission invites local school-aged artists to participate in the first Albany Young Artists’ Showcase!

Theme:

“Albany Through My Eyes”

Who:

Open to students in grades K-12 in Albany.

Where:

The Gwenn Marchese Gallery at City Hall, 333 Broadalbin St SW

When:

  • Artwork drop-off: February 26-27, noon to 5 p.m.
  • Showcase dates: March 2 - April 30, during regular business hours (M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
  • Artists' reception: Friday, April 3, at 5 p.m.
  • Artwork pick-up: TBA

How to enter:

  • No entry fee, but you are required to register using the form linked below.
  • No more than two entries per person.
  • The showcase is limited to 75 pieces total, first-come, first-served.
  • Artwork is not for sale at the showcase.
  • Artwork should be no larger than 8 x 10 and must be framed, ready to hang.
